The Approved Counselling Service (ACS) provides free individual counselling to people who have been victims of violent crime that occurred in NSW. You may apply for up to 22 hours of free counselling which is available to primary, family and secondary victims. Unfortunately, there is no current availability for VS referrals.
You may self refer for counselling sessions and sometimes, rebates can be offered via Private Health Insurance. This type of referral option is often utilised for couples counselling or for general wellness coaching.
