Stephanie Hunter has 16 years of experience and has been in private practice for the past 9 years. She was awarded a Bachelor of Psychology degree with Honours from the University of Newcastle in 2006, and is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. For the past 16 years, Stephanie has gained considerable experience in supplying counselling services primarily to adults. She also has experience providing Critical Incident Debriefing and presenting group training sessions to workplaces via Employee Assistance Programs. She also has strong Workers Compensation knowledge gained via the provision of both treatment of injured workers and consultancy services for workplace rehabilitation programs for psychological injuries. Stephanie has a strong interest and passion in supporting first responders and emergency service workers and is well versed in the intricacies of working with this population group.
Stephanie is committed to ongoing professional development and is always learning and adding to her skill set. She enjoys improving people's mental health and general wellbeing to create enhanced versions of themselves. Stephanie has a confident, compassionate and gentle approach to delivering client focussed therapy.
